BLOGGING

Bluehost – I highly recommend self hosting your blog if you’re planning to turn it into a profitable business. One of the easiest, most inexpensive ways to get started is by using Bluehost. They host over 2 million websites worldwide. And Bluehost is the #1 recommended web host by WordPress.org. Every account features 1-click WordPress installation. Can’t beat that!

WordPress – This is an awesome platform for your blog or website. Especially if you’re a beginner! WordPress is amazingly easy to use and has tons of different plugins you can use to optimize your users’ experience and track statistics.

SOCIAL MEDIA

BoardBooster – Such an awesome scheduler for your pins. This website makes pinning SO much easier and saves me a TON of time. BoardBooster has great start-up plans from $5 a month. The looping feature alone, makes this tool worth every penny. It’s a must have if you’re implementing any sort of Pinterest strategy. Get your free trial here.

Tailwind – Another great tool I love using to schedule my pins. And it may very well be my favorite. I basically pop all of my pins into the scheduler each week and let it do its thing. I don’t have to think about it all week long while it works its magic on my Pinterest account. And to top it off, Tailwind has some pretty cool analytic features so you can easily optimize your account. BoardBooster and Tailwind work really well together. I’d recommend giving them both a shot to see which works best for your needs.

Buffer – I LOVE Buffer. It’s hands down, the easiest way to schedule, publish, and analyze all your posts in one place. Buffer shares your content at the best possible times throughout the day so your followers and fans can see your updates more often. This way, you’ll get the most out of each post. Buffer offers free and paid plans. So, totally worth checking out if you’re looking for even more ways to save precious time in your day.

DESIGN

Canva – My current favorite way to edit photos. This website lets you select from a bunch of free and paid templates, or you can tap into your creative mind and customize your own. And it’s super user-friendly and fun to use.

PicMonkey – Another great way to edit your photos, and add text, overlays, graphics, etc. They offer a ton of options with their free version. And for even more goodies, you can upgrade to their Premium membership for only $3.99/month. Not too shabby.

Lucidpress – Such an awesome resource, and super easy to use. It’s perfect for printable brochures and flyers, and works really well for designing digital publications and magazines. I love that it’s totally customizable with a ton of different design options. And it’s free for documents 3 pages and under. Score!

Creative Market – Pretty much a designer’s heaven. SO much goodness lies within Creative Market, my friend. It’s basically a beautiful collection of all sorts of creative design elements. Everything from fonts, graphics, blog templates, stock photos, themes, and more. I’ve downloaded some of the most gorgeous fonts from Creative Market. And it’s fun to get lost in their many, many options! Love, love this site.

MAIL

ConvertKit – The mecca of email management for your website. ConvertKit is an awesome tool to help build your business. It allows you to send your target emails and updates to your email lists so much more effectively and efficiently. Once you begin using it, you’ll wonder why you didn’t have it sooner. Plans are super reasonable for all the goodness it has to offer.

MailChimp – Another powerful email and marketing automation tool that is totally worth checking out. It’s easy on the budget, super user-friendly, and is great for the beginner blogger.
